Info

Nashgul are 4 motherfuckers from A coruna (Spain) who in 2003 decided to start playing straight to the point fuckin Grindcore. Influenced by classics like Repulsion, early Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Assuck….etc and keeping the old school attitude they released a bunch of splits eps, lps, tape and a compilation CD. Now with more old school death metal and crust touches they released their new album “El dia despues al fin de la huminadad”, an ode to the classic metalpunk madness and favourite horror movies, with the clear message of shit over the pathetic society where we live in. Social horror grind – METAL PUNK DIVISION !!!

Bio

Nashgul was born in A Coruna (Spain) in late 2001, but it was not until 2003, with the current line-up, when the band started to play what they really wanted to: Straight to the point fucking grindcore influenced by bands like Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Assück, Terrorizer or Repulsion among others… with social/political lyrics but avoiding dogmatism and stupid PC attitudes.

That was the year when the band started to play some shows across Spain and also recorded their first demo that was released as a split tape with the Brazilian band Japura Noise Project. Later that year the band entered in studio to record a split LP with the fast hardcore band Anti-Hero from the Basque Country.

In 2005 they continued to play across the Spanish State, and they entered in studio again to record a couple of splits with Sewn Shut (released through Power it up/Cooperaccion) and From The Ashes (Cooperaccion Rcds.), both bands from Sweden.

During 2006 they released a 7'' split with World Downfall from Japan through Power it up Records. In Spring this year, Crimes against humanity from USA released “Humanicidio”, a CD compiling all the stuff they have recorded to date, including all the songs for splits and compilations, tribute albums, etc.

In this time, they have toured several times across Spain and done some shows across countries like Germany, France, Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium or the Netherlands during their two European Tours. They have played in festivals like Obscene Extreme, Bloodshed Fest or Caos Emergente, sharing stage with bands like Extreme Noise Terror, Machetazo, Haemorrhage, Dismember, Discharge, Ounslaught, Looking for an answer, Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Skitsystem, Gruesome stuff Relish, Fubar and a lot more...

In 2009 they released their first official full length “El Dia Despues Al Fin De La Humanidad” through Power It Up Rcds- (Cd Version) and Torture Garden Pictures and Trabuc Records (Vynil Version) being their most violent, grinding and dark recording to date !!!!
