THE ARSON PROJECT from Sweden would most accurately be described as very aggressive and pure adrenaline-filled grind, perfectly mixed with metal, crust & hardcore elements. Expect a devastating, intense, powerful and extremely dynamic live performance with pissed-off punk attitude, totally smashing a big fist in the face of today's society. Bio

THE ARSON PROJECT was formed 2005 in Oskarshamn, Sweden, with the simple goal to create an open-minded style of grindcore. Even with new concepts they never strayed too far from the fury and mindblowing traditional essences of grindcore. After two not-so-active years their name had somehow still managed to spread around the globe and the 2005 Promo 'Good Morning Vietnam' got really good response worldwide. Even without any official releases at this point their popularity and their good grinders in law Afgrund & Splitter introduced them to the scene, which eventually helped them to be confirmed to play both legendary Obscene Extreme Festival in Czech Republic and famous Maryland Deathfest in the U.S. Somewhere around that time the band started to realize their obvious potential and started the writing of their debut release 'Blood and Locusts'. Later on, with nothing but top rated reviews from every corner of the world in 2008 and 2009, this was a true mark that The Arson Project will be an important part in the i future of grindcore. The past year the band, dispite two line-up changes, have spent almost amazingly three months on the european roads which have brought them a big step forward. Just recently back home after a touring rampage through 18 countries there is still no time for them to hold up. In December 2009 they will tour Sweden together with Birdflesh + Slavebreed, in January the Brutal Assault Festival in Switzerland awaits and for 2010 already three tours are planned to promote the upcoming 7" on Relapse and first full-length CD!!
