AVULSED

2009 was the year designated for the release of AVULSED's fifth full length album "Nullo (The Pleasure of Self-mutilation)" (10th CD on their career!!). After their highly acclaimed previous album "Gorespattered Suicide" that leaded them to play in places like Mexico (full 11-dates tour), Japan, Russia, countless spare shows & festivals all across Europe (including OEF 2005) as well as a headlining tour through Europe in '05. Spanish Death Metal legend (19 years and counting...) just came back from their 4th European assault, again as headliners and are currently spreading their sickness all over Spain as well as the rest of Europe on selected Festivals.

AVULSED has not only gained a solid fanbase worldwide, but also got a strong reputation as one of the world's most ferocious, intense and violent live performances seen on stage with their punishing brand of Gore-drenched Death Metal!! Your neck won't be the same after watching an AVULSED show, and your adrenaline will just boil!! Some bands aim to be famous... AVULSED just aims for respect and they got not only that, they're already a living legend!!

CATHETER

Being one of the most hardworking and constantly touring grindcore bands out of Denver, Colorado, this summer CATHETER will come back to Europe for the third time. With new bass player as well as new singer Nate (BLACK MARKET FETUS) the great foursome is ready to blow away all their European fans on the stage of Obscene Extreme Festival 2010. Those who have seen the band on the European tours back in 2003 and 2005 know what to expect, the rest of you who are beyond belief CATHETER will demonstrate what true grindcore is. If you dig Repulsion, Phobia, old good Napalm Death, S.O.B., Terrorizer, Nausea (L.A.) then you can't miss them! Moreover the quartet is working on their third full length to be released right on the European tour. 303 GRINDCORE!!!

KRUSH

Dutch crust-grinders Krush are around since the 90's and will release their first full-length album this year thru Power-It-Up, followed by a Euro-tour including the Obscene Extreme Festival. They appeared on the OEF in 2003 and are very pleased to play again this year. Up till now they released five 7"s and finally this year new songs will come to light. Expect a mix of crust-grind paying tribute to Disrupt and early Disfear, Disgust, Extreme Noise Terror, Terrorizer and Napalm Death. If these bands are high on your list, check out the new album!!!

TRUTNOV – HOME SWEET HOME!!!

We can finally confirm the fest venue for OEF 2010 after intense negotiations. We announce a return back home. Again the grind core Olympic will take place Battlefield in Trutnov!!! We strongly believe this message will be as positive for you as for us. I must say both the volume in Svojsice and so-called crisis helped us a lot to be able to finally negotiate fair conditions for all the participating parties!!! Both catering and bars will be under OEF control meaning this money will be used to cover the costs of the bands which is an outstanding thing. So, you can be looking forward to more good news/bands in the coming weeks. We also have many plans with this magical venue. We are going to increase the size of the venue, there will be showers, much better wash room. We are considering a left-luggage office or a VIP camp that will be under constant security and behind a fence. We still think about further improvements and you will of course learn about them on our website!!!

JAPANISCHE KAMPFHORSPIELE

These six wunderkinders from germany call their music "grindpunk" though their material contains more musical styles than the term "grindpunk" might reveal. Just imagine Extreme Noise Terror meeting Cradle Of Filth at the Love Parade procreating a clan of disturbed german speaking descendants afflicted with both attention deficit- and obsessive compulsive disorder. Jaka are proud to give their OE-debut and blast their sonic eruptions (all of them between 10 seconds and five minutes long) on to the festival ground!!!

BLOODY PHOENIX

Ami grindcore heavy weight will play OEF finally!!! BLOODY PHOENIX is another band that fully adore motto SHORT, FAST and LOUD, totally storming songs that will grind everything!!! Pitty, that this band from California is not so well-known in grindcore scene as they really deserve attention because they play really intense musisc that we all, grindcore fans, are dreaming about. All of us who could see B.P. on their first European tour can swear that they're also a superb live act, get ready and give them chance to convince you about this fact at OEF this year!!!

NASHGUL

Nashgul are 4 motherfuckers from A coruna (Spain) who in 2003 decided to start playing straight to the point fuckin Grindcore. Influenced by classics like Repulsion, early Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Assuck….etc and keeping the old school attitude they released a bunch of splits eps, lps, tape and a compilation CD. Now with more old school death metal and crust touches they released their new album “El dia despues al fin de la huminadad”, an ode to the classic metalpunk madness and favourite horror movies, with the clear message of shit over the pathetic society where we live in. Social horror grind – METAL PUNK DIVISION!!!

LYCANTHROPHY

Extreme mix of rapid HC/fastcore/power violence/grind core with uncompromising female vocal!!!

WARPATH

Brutal young band from Ireland playing old school lethal death metal!!! You can wait for some wicked down-tuned songs, ideal for massive headbanging!!!

New bands for OEF 2010

MASTER

Why MASTER at OEF 2010? Easy to say - Paul Speckmann is simply legend of extreme music!!! To sum up Master's impact, they helped invent grindcore and death metal, and for many death metal bands (REAL death metal bands, not the Cannibal Corpse clones), listing Master as an influence is almost second nature. X-Ecutioner/Obituary never hid their Master influence, and bands like NunSlaughter, Exhumed and Pentacle all list Death Strike/Master as inspirational to their noise. Majesty/Terrorizer/Nausea, Napalm Death, Righteous Pigs, Repulsion, Benediction, Entombed and Obituary all owe their bit to Master. Even if your not a fan of those bands, if your a punk or whatever, have a listen to Master, and I'm sure you'll like them. For fans of heavy, face-ripping music, Master are mandatory!!!

ATTACK OF THE MAD AXEMAN

After the mad axeman destroyed the forest some animals decided to get back in charge of their destiny. there was only one way to show their extreme anger about what had happened: playing harsh and ruthless grindcore. So they left their homes to destroy your ears but also to make you sensible for animal problems. Animal grind is an attempt of deconstructing boundaries: not only between humans and animals - also within the animals themselves: a snail on drums, a bee on bass, a growling turtle on vocals and a squirrel and a night owl sharing the dirty work on guitars. Animals with very different backgrounds you may think, but they found a way of working together. And they want you to join the squad - no matter if you have two, four, six, eight or a thousand legs. Punishing blastbeats, hard hitting guitars, exploding bass and bonerattling vocals: these are the weapons fighting ignorance, injustice and.. the mad axeman!!!

PURULENT JACUZZI

Another band for OEF 2010 is coming from Moscow, don't be surpsised, Russia is full of new extreme and brutal bands and their scene is stronger every day!!! Their slamming goregrind can enjoy not only young OEF fans!!! PURULENT JACUZZI released great debut album "Stench Of The Drowned Carrion" and now they prepare songs for split and second full lenght album!!!

As every year we continue with our action "Football for kids". This year we donated 20 new balls to the youngest football players of the Football Club Stare Hradiste!!! Those kids just started their first football season and they play awesome football and we are more than happy than we can support them!!!

Introduction of another 3 bands for OEF 2010!!!

DERANGED

We are proud to announce Deranged on Obscene Extreme fest 2010!!! If you would look up "death metal" in a dictionary it would most likely say "Deranged". This swedish act has been delivering the purest death metal since the very early 90´es and have always stayed as far away from any current trends there has been. Deranged are known for delivering an intense and no remorse showing live set, and that is exactly what we can except from them on Obscene Extreme as well. Sadly the band split up for a short period in 2008, but are now back with a vengeance, with a much stronger line up then ever before. Soundwise, Deranged have probably always sounded a bit more like their american colleagues rather then their swedish average death metal country men, but has always maintained an unique sound that only Deranged can do.

THE ARSON PROJECT

THE ARSON PROJECT from Sweden would most accurately be described as very aggressive and pure adrenaline-filled grind, perfectly mixed with metal, crust & hardcore elements. Expect a devastating, intense, powerful and extremely dynamic live performance with pissed-off punk attitude, totally smashing a big fist in the face of today's society. Finally back since OEF 2007, they will without ANY doubts blow your fucking brains out, and then still keep you moshing in blood and mud! THIS IS WAR ON STAGE!!!

PUTRESCENCE

OEF is pleased to announce the addition of Canadian death/grind maniacs PUTRESCENCE to the list of confirmed bands for the 2010 edition of the fest. For six years Putrescence have quietly tolled away in the Canadian underground, furiously spitting in the faces of corpses before churning them up with the bands' ferociously overripe and juicy riffs, creating a harsh musical stench that is stale & rotten and definately for freaks only. Putrescence are well aware that eastern Europe is tops for bulldozing grindcore, haing learned a lesson on the 2007 Euro tour in which CZ fans almost made them weep with happiness on stage. The band eagerly looks forward to cracking skulls, apologizing profusely and then stomping on broken heads that have just been destroyed by grindcore!!!
