American brutal death band PROPHECY cancelled their appearance at OEF. We are really sorry about that, as you can see from e-mail below, it looks like their label promised to pay their flights to Europe but they didn’t send them...

This sucks shit but our label (Grindethic Rec.) doesn't have the money for the airfare meaning we can't come to Europe this time. I'm very sorry for this Curby. Believe me if we had the money we would be there. I will stay in touch. Good luck with everything.

Soccer mania is here!!!

It is here again. The soccer fever is rising and will break out at full throttle tomorrow !!! OEF celebrates 10. anniversary and there is not a finer number on a green turf than the number 10. That is why we have prepared a special edition of the soccer T-shirts with an Obscene Extreme motiv!! It is indeed a very limited edition. There will be 122 red T-shirts, 66 Brasilian ones and 122 orange ones. So, as soon as you enter the festival area Battlefield venue, look around for this special merchandising!!!

Changes in OEF line-up – COVENANCE can´t play the show, Czech band MALIGNANT TUMOUR will take their place!!!

Ami death metal outfit COVENANCE can not fly to Europe during this summer as planned, it´s because problems of US economy as prices of plane tickets to Eurpope almost doubled in price over the last 6 months so COVENANCE cancelled their appearance at OEF and some other summer shows in Europe...but we have really cool replacement, the biggest crust´n´roll band ever, at least Czech biggest crust´n´roll ever, MALIGNANT TUMOUR!!!

OEF announces headliner!!! Look forward to seeing MACABRE!!!

Obscene Extreme festival announces headliner for 2008!!! Legendary sickos from Chicago, Illinois will conquer Trutnov!!!

MACABRE blends elements of true crime, math rock, nursery rhymes, grindcore, punk, thrash, folk melodies, death metal, jazz fusion, black metal and more into an energetic, catchy and unmistakable amalgam. Murder Metal, the title of their latest release, refers to Macabre's signature style. It's a genre of one. The all-too-true tales of man's inhumanity to man are delivered with knife-edge precision, interspersed with Corporate Death's patented (back when he was a toddler) screech.

Fast and heavy, with a focus on things that make happy shiny people cringe, the original members, Corporate Death (guitar and vocals), Nefarious (bass and vocals) and Dennis the Menace (drums) are still together. Macabre have brought mayhem to the world in the past decade, playing dozens countries over the years. Macabre's rabid fans, including members of bands ranging from CARCASS to SLIPKNOT, relish the band's tight and increasingly sophisticated music; they exult in their musical chops as much as in the band's sense of humor, their killer music, and its deadly subjects.

All of us still remember their unforgettable show back in 2003 and we are really happy that MACABRE will join us at this 10th anniversary event as a headliner!!! And it’s not only ‚coz they love OEF, we really respect them very much!!!
