Hard to say something when old friend left our world...anyway Tony was my old good friend, we probably met for very first time back in 1998 at Wee Lewaat festival in Belgium then he was visiting OEF quite often since beginning of our festival...he was die-hard underground maniac and it was always more than nice to meet him on the way...so thanx Tony for all that good shows, festivals, tours where we met and thanx for your show at OEF 2008!!! Rest in Noise...

OUR WISH : During the years of OBSCENE EXTREME it gained a great name not only in regard to the fans but also to the council of the town of Trutnov. Please, be fine and take care of good name of the OBSCENE EXTREME and of your own one too!!!

PARKING AND NEW CAMPING SITE

Entrance to parking and festival gate is around 800 meters from main gate in direction out of the town...there will sings for entrance...parking costs 150,- Czech korunas or 8 euros and it's all days of Obscene Extreme festival for one car... please be ready with change for your parking ticket to help us to go in faster, thanx!!! Park your car on left or right side of the access road. The place for tents is located behind right side of parking cars.

BLOODY PHOENIX!!!

Bad news from Usa, BLOODY PHOENIX cancelled their European tour!!! Drummer of the band had accident during celebration of Independence day, he was injured with some firework...actually you can see his hand...what can I say? I am really dissapointed, personally I really love BLOODY PHOENIX‘s music as they kick ass hard but we really can’t do anything now...we wish good rehab and hopefully see you guys sooner or later at OEF...for replacement we had just few hours and we booked Czech fastcore thrashers LAHAR!!!

Curby,.... our drummer had an accident, he's in the hospital and won't see the surgeon until Monday, we were suppose to leave for tour on Monday but now will wait to see what the doctors say. We are hopeful that he will have surgery Monday and be able to play by Saturday. Just letting you know that there is a possiblitly we might not be able to make it. We all really want to play the OE fest. Our drummer will do everything possible to make it. I will have more details on monday.

Curby, it's worse than we thought, our drummer will require surgery afterall, which he'll do tomorrow, and will have to go through rehab to get his thumb working properly, could take up to 3 months. So we have to cancel. I am very very sorry Curby, I am pissed,... 3 days before we take off and he does something stupid. Anyhow,.. my total apologies to have to cancel on you. We are going to have to postpone our whole tour now. Doesn't look like we'll be going over there til' spring now. Thank you for the opportunity to play Obscene Extreme. Would have been awesome. Hope it goes well. Give me your address again and I will send you a t-shirt. size too.

Be ready!!!

Yes, be ready. The D-day, the H-hour and the S-second are almost here!!!

What to take with you?

It is clear you are going to spend 3-4 days at the fest so be ready for everything. For the time being the weather forecast is fine. It looks like it is going to be sunny with some rain-showers. We will know just at the Na Bojišti venue to what extent the forecast is going to meet the reality. So, we advise you better to be ready with a kit-bag for both the sunny and the rainy variant plus you can take coins (for shower for example), ID card, health insurance card (especially stage divers!!!), hygienic stuff, rain coat, WC paper, sun glasses, sun lotion, tent, sleeping bag.

METAL-CORE market starts on Thursday too!!!

METAL-CORE market - one of the biggest market for extreme music in Czech will open on Thursday!!! If you're looking for something from grind/crust/power violence/HC/death/thrash/punk/gore underground then this is your right destination as OEF market is one of the biggest in Czech republic!!!
