If you don't like Swedish crust, you're probably going to find OBSCENE EXTREME 2012 a loooooooong weekend indeed, as Lidköping's M:40 are celebrating their tenth anniversary of being a band by punching in your eardrums until blood dribbles down your shirt.
Typically blistering Swedish hardcore, delivered with knuckle-whitening grindcore intensity, M:40 borrowed their bassist from the punishing EXHALE in 2007 and it shows as the acidic 2008 7” EP 'INDUSTRIALANDSKAP' cranked their signature sound up a few notches to fast and furious perfection.

It's only been three years since their last legendary set at OBSCENE EXTREME, but it sure feels like longer.
The last few years have been good to WORMROT, the hard-touring, hard-working Singapore three-piece signed up to EARACHE in 2010 for the reissue of their first full-length 'ABUSE', an inescapable battery of classic grindcore, with the raw, feral edge of powerviolence.
Since then they've released new album 'DIRGE' free for download, and toured Europe and the US heavily, and now they're coming home to be reunited with their family – not Singapore, but to the BATTLEFIELD and the filthy grindfreaks of OBSCENE EXTREME 2012.

There are few grindcore bands who can boast much of a following outside
of the genre, but Colorado deathgrinders CEPHALIC CARNAGE are most
definitely one of those bands, winning over all corners with their
technical brand of groove-fired brutality and fierce, incisive sense of
humour.
Though they formed in 1992, they've only released six albums, but what
they lack in quantity they make up for in diversity – sprinkling albums
with flamenco guitar, surf rock, doom-inspired dirges, and their
infamous parodies of metalcore and black metal.
CEPHALIC CARNAGE are the perfect party band – check out the video of
them playing 'Eye Of The Tiger' when a fight kicks off in the pit, and
be assured that even if the show goes wrong at OBSCENE EXTREME 2012,

MASSIVE CHARGE
Existing since 2003, MASSIVE CHARGE just released a few months ago its
second and craziest album, "Charge This World". A pure and raw old
School Grindcore blast, without nothing else than fast grind headbanging
rythms, Thrashy and angry riffs, aggressive and crusty screams, and
amazing humming bass.
The best remains their incredible and genuine energy, which never let
intensity falling. Massive charge is just one of the better French Band,
