Bio

The idea to establish RADIOLOKÁTOR was born on joint tour of GRIDE and LAHAR in 2006. Iny, Čert (GRIDE) and Korek, Žrout (LAHAR) found out that they have a common dream; to play cover songs of old thrash metal bands of 80ies ad 90ies. Certain time after tour we started to practice and we created a program contains cover songs of bands from golden era of thrash metal. We played many really good shows with this program (among others with RATTUS, NK6, NUNSLAUGHTER, BRUTAL KNIGHTS, WEHRMACHT, VENOMOUS CONCEPT, D.F.C. …). In year (2009) a face of RADIOLOKÁTOR changed a bit. First of all, we admitted Honza (AVENGER) as a second guitarist. The second guitar has changed the sound of RADIOLOKÁTOR and all songs sound much better and heavier than ever. The second serious change came with many offers to records, which we received. We couldn’t record only cover songs and so we have started to create our own stuff. First of these songs you could listen on split EP with NUNSLAUGHTER (Doomentia Records) and split LP with BLACK MARKET FETUS (Dead Heroes Bros.). Unfortunately in 2012 we ended playing alive, because of member’s workload in other bands. In Spring 2012 we only recorded stuff for split EP with CRUCIFIED MORTALS (Doomentia Records) and then RADIOLOKÁTOR went to winter sleep. We have started playing alive in November 2013 again (after one and half year). And now we still do fucking harsh thrash and we want you leave our show in a sweat!!!
